Hi all, I've been thinkin that since SCD is supposed to work by starving out the damaging bacteria in our lower intestines, has any1 used Flagyl 2 compliment that effort? Or mayb another drug that is designed 2 kill that harmful bacteria?
Has any1 used Flagyl (or other) with SCD?

The problem is it will kill the good bacteria as well. SCD has you starving off the bad while using fermented foods to let the good flora come back. Any antibiotic that I know of just kills indiscriminately.
Will it hurt to do 2 weeks of flagyl? Ultimately no, but I don't think it will help the goals of the diet either.
