Has anyone breastfed while on Stelara?

Hi,
I'm almost 15 weeks pregnant. I'm just wondering if any of you have breastfed while taking Stelara? I'm one year on it now and take 90mg every 8 weeks. My consultant thinks we should withhold treatment in the final trimester and resume when I give birth. I really hoped to breastfeed, all going well, so wondered if anyone has any advice?

You asked for advice - I would not breast feed my baby if I were in your position. MAP has been shown to exist in breast milk (not that you have it but there is a good possibility with Crohns Colitis that you do). There mere fact that you have Crohns, and to this day we do not know the exact cause, is reason enough for me to advise you to rather be cautious and play it safe. The last thing in the world you would want to do is to increase the odds even slightly that your beautiful baby might develop IBD.
