Has anyone used this toxin free analgesic called Myo-med? It was in our local paper with a doctors comment and has a practice in Toronto. You can order it online
www.myo-medworks.com. Recently my husbands knees are giving him trouble and my own knees hurt but find most of these creams dont work. Any take on this stuff? I would appreciate any responses. Thanks!

Found a better website for US and Canada http://www.myomed.com/.

I'm lucky sister - I don't get joint pains for the most part unless I am having a super severe flare or have been sitting with my legs crossed (indian style) too long.

Yeah you are lucky, I havent sat like that in ages... I am having a hard time getting this stuff one store got 200 calls to see if they had it in stock. Sometimes ordering from the states is costly when the dollar is down a bit and shipping costs and duties, hardly worth it...especially if it dont work. The hubby has been having alot of pain in his knees so they are ordering him "Happy Knees" or something to protect him on the mine floors. Just want to see if anyone has tried it and works ya know? LOL

Wow, my hubby might be interseted in the cream too....I have never heard of it either. If the price is right, it might be worth a try. Although, I am always a little leary about 'miracle' type treatments. I will check it out furthur on-line.

I got a call back from a major health food store (call display) and they are going to order it and call me when it comes in, on back order as they got over 200 calls so why not make a business deal! Yeah I plan on reporting to see if it works. I can't believe I woke up this morning and every muscle, joint is killing me and I haven't been this bad since I dont know when. I know I am nearing a major flare when this happens.

I am trying to stay away from meds, so fingers crossed.

Thanks probably from my stressful last 2 weeks but the hubby is home tonight for 3 weeks!!! He will take the load of me. Just not sleeping good and feel nauseated alot. Thanks Carrie, I appreciated it.

Is it similar to Myoflex?? My mom used to use it, and could only get it in Canada. I use it once in a while when my tendonitis acts up in my wrists.

Similar to that MBH, and I forgot to post since I got it, waaaaaay too expensive, $33.00 a tube! My hubby who is only a believer in DeepHEAT (I hate that stuff and the smell) anyways he had sore shoulder and knee and says the relief wasnt immediate, but the next day gone. I was playing darts for the first time in ages and put it on, didnt do a thing. I hate trying out new stuff and finding out is doesnt work. I will try it again, but so far I dont have no aches...knock-on-wood!

I use Myoflex, It's okay. Of course, any topical cream is only going to provide temporary relief.

There's also a non-prescription strength Voltaren cream recently introduced. It's good too.
