Have I finally stumbled on the answer after all this hardship? I only ever thought once to correlate the two but quickly dismissed it as wrong. To my surprise today to find out its common. And my second question would be if I seek treatment will my lips finnaly heal and go back to original size? Thank you

I have heard that B12 or Folate deficiency can cause cracked lips. B12 deficiency is a common deficiency caused by crohn's.

With regards to getting your lips back to normal, I guess that question can only be answered by finding the source of the chapped lips, trying an appropriate treatment and seeing if it helps. Wishing you luck in figuring it out!

Crohn's can cause deficiency of many essential vitamins and minerals, as well as dehydration. Perhaps that is part of the reason for your dry, cracked lips?
