Entered into trial years ago and thought since joining it would be a good topic as I am interested to see if anyone else here has tried certolizumab ??
Experience :
I was in the middle of a terrible flare when asked to be a patient for the trial. At this point my crohns had flared so bad I didn't really get a choice .the injections themselves i found extremely painful to the point where my mum and dad had to pin my arms and legs down so that my specialists could inject x2 into my stomach area , I was actually relieved when I couldn't be in the study anymore because I came into contact with c-diff (clostridium difficile) more info here: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/C_diff , I always wondered if there was anyone who stayed with the trial and what their results where ! Please let me know !!!!!
