I am not having a good day today, it started last night had a roast dinner, and the pain started almost as I put my knife and fork down. I spent a lot of the night in the loo, and most of the early morning. My poor 15 year old son was in the bath, he knows he cant lock the door and I try not to have to call on him, but this morning he was in the bath and I said pull the shower curtain, I cant hold it! he is so good he sat in the bath whilst I sat with explosive D on the toilet. This happened twice during his bath, its such a pain having only one loo. I feel really bad he used to get out of the bath but now just seems to excepts that I have to go and go then and there. Its good luck that the shower curtain is not see through! But this does not hide the smell or noise! The things that our families have to put up with!

Well i finally left for work after getting a big red ring around my bum and having put cream on my red and bleeding bottom, left for work thinking I really hope I do not have an accident on the M25! I always have spare clothing and wipes but its not great sitting in your car pooing whilst driving! but something I am sure I am not the only one to have happened to!

I have been in a lot of pain today in my lower right side, and also have had pain in my left side which is new. I am counting down the hours until I see my consultant on Monday at 2pm. I am really hoping that he is going to give me a firm diagnosis after my colonoscopy and biopsies! I know that they have found inflamation in my rectum and caecum? but keep thinking what if he does nothing! I cant go on like this its really becoming hard to work and I am so tired!

Sorry just needed to get that off my chest and know you guys will probably understand!

I hope you feel better Theresa. I am sure your doctor will start to take the necessary steps in order to help you feel well again. I also wish for the rest of the rest of the day and tommorow are better for you.

Hey Theresa,

I have SO been there! We live in a flat, one loo, and my son has UC as well - there is ALWAYS a crowd in our bathroom.

I know exactly what you mean, sometimes it gets you so down, I have been so tired as well.

I know it probably doesnt make you feel better, but you are not alone.

I hope you start to pick up soon.

Lishyloo x

Dingbat Nancy Lee and JenJenn thanks for your good wishes it really helps to know you all care. Lishyoo, thanks for your post I am glad my home is not the only one thats manic around using the loo.

I am sorry I did not answer you all last night took some painkillers got a hotwater bottle and snuggled up in bed and slept and slept, when to bed around 8pm, I really needed it. The pain is still there today I think I am due my monthly and its always worse at this time of the month, anyone else get this? I had to go to Dorset today for a business meeting and that was three hours each way and then a meeting. I was dreading it! It went ok, I got up extra early and sat on the loo with D until it stoped and then left for the drive, hoping I would not have to stop to many times. I got there no problems. The meeting went well, and then panic we all had to sit for a business lunch, I really hate these and tend to push my food around the plate even though I am hungry as I was just thinking oh my god if i eat I have a long drive home. I ate a little and then all the way home my stomach was cramping, I only just made it home. There were not many service stations on the way back and it was dark so I just sat it out and prayed.

Well at least its another day nearer to Monday when I see my consultant for my results! I will keep you posted thankyou for listening and caring it really helps!

Good luck with the results... well, not necessarily hoping you've got Crohn's, but that the doc's have a clue and get you on the road to sorting you out.

Hi guys really nervous and exited today as have my appointment today but worried in case I do not get answers. I feel a nervous wreck! I am worried about what he will say and what questions to ask this is all new to me! I just want him to say what he found how they are going to treat it and stop the pain! my partner is taking time off work to come with me which is great I really need the support as I know I will probably just burst out in tears and be a blubbering mess! wish me luck!

Thanks Beth, for your quick response, I will let you know how I get on! have you any suggestions of questions I should ask?

Oh, you've probably gone by now.

Anyway, not really. See what he/she suggests and get on with it!
