I have had ulcerative Colitis for 24 yrs. I am on Asacol 800mg. 3 a day. I have had the Plug Procedure and did not work. I am having the LIFT Procedure tomorrow and I am scared to death!!!!. I have read several things and I am very concerned about it taking and time from work.

Good luck to you. I know how you feel. The feeling of uncertainty overwhelmed me before each of my 6 I&D surgeries. I didn't even reach the stage to even discuss fistula repair with my CRS. Fistula is a slow healing disease that its success or failure is realized only after a long wait, following a surgery. I hope that LIFT works for you.

Now, I am starting to have problems from the lift procedure. I may have brought it on myself. I took 6 working days off plus weekends from work. I wasn't in much pain so I did a lot of chores around the house. I had told myself I wasn't going to do anything. But, I did!!! Now, I may be paying for it. Going back to doctor tomorrow. Wish me luck.

All the symptoms I was feeling were normal. I was excited!!! I go back in 2 weeks then hopefully, I can go back to my part-time job. Thanks for asking.
