Hi, I'm on Buedesodine (Entocort), and imuran, and omeprazole for GERD and Crohn's. I've found switching all my my meds + supplements to into the morning rather than the mid day since it is more convenient. However, ever since this change I have been getting a headache that has lasted for 3 days now I believe. Not sure if any of you have this experience before when changing time of meds. ALSO my prescription changed from 2 to 2/12 imuran tablets so don't know if that could be the case? I don't know how strong just that 1/2 tablet is for my body. Hopefully this stops, but never noticed this headache before. I've been on the meds for around 2 months could it also be that the symptoms are finally kicking in and have some getting used to ?

Thanks,

I just googled budesonide. It said one of the side effects could be headache. You should call your doctor. Please let us know how you are doing. Support and prayers.

Both name-brand Entocort and generic Budesonide gave me terrible headaches that could last as long as 5 days. Tapering down the dose and eventually coming off of the medication was the only thing that got rid of the headaches for me (tapering down made them less severe and shorter duration but they were still there even at a lower dose). When do you taper down your Budesonide? That should at the very least give you some relief. I haven't been on Imuran myself so I don't know anything about that in regards to headaches, but yes, Budesonide can definitely cause headaches.

No idea to be exact, it has gone away with a good nights sleep, don't know if it'll come back ,i've never experienced this with entocort. I'm taking three of the pills atm Ibelieve I was supposed to be on it till 3 months and stop.. I'll check in with my GI next appt.
