Hello everybody!!

Could you tell me any health insurance that accept people with Crohn?? I need one for my entrance in Canada (I have a working holiday visa) and I can't find any... Please, is very important... otherwise I will lose this oportunity...

Thank you very much.

Canada has universal healthcare so people with crohns are treated equally. Is that open to non-citizens!

Thank you very much for your answer.

I had read that healthcare in canada was not universal, so i must work 3 month before being able of having healthcare there, so i needed a health insurance that covers my stay in canada, but there´s no one that accepts me because of crohn's disease. in the WHV requirements told me that i must have a health insurance to enter in canada that covers all my stay. sorry if i am wrong.

Yeah sorry canadian healthcare is only for Canadians. If you get sick her you'll most certainly get a bill for it.

Even if you find an insurance that will accept you check all of the pre existing conditions super closely. Most of the private insurance companies in Canada have a clause where if your meds or treatment has changed for any condition then you're not covered for anything to do with that condition.

You will be able to get insurance that will cover you for 3 months. However it probably won't cover your Crohn's disease. That doesn't mean you can't go you will just need to be prepared to pay out of pocket for any Crohn's related health care.
