Hi there everyone,
My name is Linda and I am 50 and live in Luton.
I was first diagnosed with Crohn's disease in the Terminal Ileum about 8 years ago.
I think I am quite lucky as the only real symptom I have is PAIN, and sometimes like tonight it is really quite crippling.
I had surgery 3 years ago to sort out a fistula (nasty) and also suffer from terrible facial swelling which normally ends with a trip to A&E for an adrenalin shot and some anti histamine and steroids.
I am not on any medication, but this is my choice, my previous dr wanted me to go through another barium meal and endoscopy, and said following my last barium meal that my intestine showed some 'narrowing'.
Has anyone else started like this and if so ... did it get worse ... did it spread...
The pain tonight is so horrible but i am sure that a few pain killers and a good nights sleep will help.
thanks for listening / reading and hope you are all doing well.
take care
Linda
