So first off, I know seeing a doctor is the smartest option. Might be able to see my GP tomorrow, but GI will take longer to see, and I probably need blood work anyway.

I just finished moving to a new house, pushed myself and got through it. Almost a week later, I've been unpacking without pushing myself since I'm off from work through the summer.

I've been feeling really tired for the last few days, to the point of dozing off mid day once, and giving in yesterday to take a nap. Today is the same, and I've just started feeling a little feverish. Bowels have been a little loose than "normal" but nothing major.

Any thoughts onwhat might be going wrong? Any suggestions on how to get through the next 2 days? I have a rehearsal tomorrow afternoon, and a performance Saturday evening neither of which I can really bail on unless its an emergency.

I'm on humira and asacol...several months with no problems from them.

It sounds like you might be in the beginning of a flare, possibly set off by the stress of your move? If you can see your GP, that would be good. They should at least be able to prescribe you something like prednisone to nip the flare in the bud, and I know that pred always kicks in fast for me and gives me crazy energy, so if it has the same effect on you then you should hopefully stop dozing off and feel better. That may all vary of course depending on your reaction to pred and if it is indeed a flare and what your GP says.

If things don't get better, I would say don't push yourself too hard. If it is a flare, you don't want to make it worse by stressing your body out further. Rest up as much as you can. And if you miss the rehearsal/performance, surely it's not the end of the world? Your health is the most important thing, so take care of yourself first and foremost.

I agree with cat it might be the start of a flare up or maybe not a full fledged flare but a little road bump for you. Just take it easy, give your body lots of rest, fluids and nutritious but easily digestible food till you see your GI.

I'll definitely call my GP and GI tomorrow. I'm really hoping this is all just being brought on by stress. The performance I have Saturday has gotten really stressful; normally I'm very relaxed about performances and enjoy them.

I appreciate the reminders about water and food. I've been trying to stay on top of that, but moving made it difficult. I've been losing weight for at least a month at this point...less appetite than normal, but I've had a long-standing problem with being overweight anyway. I'm not sure how much I've lost, tho, haven't had a chance to weigh myself.

I'm definitely going to take it easy with things around the house for at least the next couple of days. Hopefully that'll allow me to keep my music committments, especially Saturday's performance.
