help ! test normal test results !!!

well i have got the results of my small bowel enema , all normal even though the test hurt like hell and the radiographers seamed to be discussing what ' that ' was on the screen and even had a deeper look , dont get me wrong im happy nothing major is going on but was still kinda hopeing something was there so they could treat the pain , ??:well:

so far i have had a small bowel enema and large bowel enema , the large bowel showed abnormalities but not of any significance !! the smal bowel normal ??

what i gues im asking is ... is the the end if the road ?? what other tests can be done ?? has anyone else had normal results then had a diagnosis of something ?

soo desperate to be able to eat without pain and be pain and toilet problem free !!

Hi there, I would have thought the best thing to be done to fully rule out an issue/confirm what is going on is a colonoscopy. This isn't the nicest of procedures but it is the best way to see what is going on inside.

do u think thats somthing i could try asking for ?? again will i have to be on a flare wen i have it done as gp has suggested ?? xx thanks for getting back xx

No worries I think it is defintely something you should enquire about. If you having pain at the mo I would say you're already on a flare and as one of your tests has shown abnormalities surely something is going on. I suppose it does help if you are having issues to have the test done at this time because any inflammation will then show up.

ahh thanks angry bird , yep i am in pain but not the worst ever , its starting to ease with low fiber diet n liquid diet as my doc suggested for the pain xx

I would ask for a second opinion on the scans. An abnormality is an abnormality, big or small I wouldn't care, would be demanding a full look and explanation as to why it is being ignored!
