I have had Crohn's disease since 2009.. I went gluten free in 2010 and have been in remission since.. Before I was on humira, asacol, so very ill.. I have been meds free except for thc.. In the past two months I have started working and stressed out.. I have mucus in stool and severe cramping despite what I take or eat.. I have lost a bunch of weight as well.. I started back up my lialda but I also discovered a boil on my R hip.. I'm so confused:( is this normal for a Crohn's flare and should I be worried?

Best seek medical advice from your doctor or gastroenterologist in situations like this. They are the best people to advise and help you. They will help put your mind at ease, and can maybe give you new drugs to try.

Sorry I cannot be more help.

Cheers

Could be a flare. You will need to see a Dr to have tests run to check inflammation. You will want to seek treatment before symptoms get worse.

How are you feeling today?

The boil can be a symptom of Crohn's. My Pyoderma flares when my Crohn's flares. I agree with everyone else, check in with your Dr. Good luck.
