Hemp CBD Oil vs actual Cannabis?

I am currently in a fairly mild flare-up and am considering trying these legal hemp oil sprays which have a small amount of CBD in them to try and help it. Want to avoid Prednisone completely.

Anyone have any experience with these? Will the CBD have the same effect as if I managed to get a hold of the "real deal" and make oil / butter as a medication? If its a waste of time I will just do it the "real" way.

Struggling to find any info which actually compares CBD with THC as a form of medication for crohn's, any comments on this would be great? Is THC-Active medicine necessary? or does CBD Oil from a Hemp Plant do the same thing?
