Hepatic Panel Question

DS gets labs done at every Remi infusion. There is a part in the Hepatic Panel results that shows % neutrophils, % lymphocytes, etc. All percentages with no "normal" range. What are they percentages of??

His % neutrophils were way out of whack from past labs (double) and your link suggests he's out of range. His % neutrophils have only ever been that high when flaring. Hope it's a fluke!

Are they flagged as high in his labs? If not, I wouldn't worry too much. If they are, hopefully it's just a blip.

No, not flagged, but I think it's because there is no range listed to generate a flag.

Sometimes different labs use different percentages. What were the numbers?

My son's labs looked like that for his 6mp hepatic panel also. The norms for the meds he is on are different than the average kid, is what our GI said. I'd check with the doctor though. I was told the actual count, and not the percentage, is what really matters.

For us. In town lab. Neutro ref range (30-70) Lympho ref range (20-70)
Kids Hospital Neutro standar range 41.0 - 77.0 Lympho standard range 24.0 -44.0
