Hello.

Have not been active on this forum for years, but came across some information that I was not aware of before.

I believe that I stated that I only knew of one way of eliminating MAP and that was by using the Mycobacterium Avium frequencies that I used running a Rife machine. There may be other ways I was not aware of then. I found this in the late Stephen Buhners book "Herbal Antibiotics" located on page 50. I was going to post a picture of the page but this site doesn't have a working "insert image" function.

This is an excerpt from the book:
The herbs effective for treating resistant and nonresistant TB are crytolepis, sida, bidens, piperenne, Artemisia annua, berberine plants, juniper, usnea, lomatium, licorice, echinacea, and rhodiola.

Of these, I have used Cryptolepis although I was unaware it could kill Mycobacteria Tuberculosis. I used it to kill mycoplasma which was a very large contributer to my Crohn's symptoms. So, you might be able to kill two birds with one stone with Cryptolepis. It did eliminat my mycoplasma. I took it for about two months. I recently retreated as you can re-aquire any of the four pathogens responsible for my symptoms.

I also have used Rhodiola but again, not for this. I used it for winter time blues. It sharpened my early morning thinking as I recall. My son has been using it for mental sharpness. He was quite impressed with the effects.

I also tried Licorice as it is a fairly well know Crohn's treatment. Now I know why. The problem is I despise Licorice. I would almost puke taking it. I just couldn't do it. Further in the book it mentions that Licorice shouldn't be used as a stand alone treatment, but an additional method. Licorice has some things it reacts with and some other concerns you should look up before using it. That goes for the rest also. Dosages need to be researched as well.

I highly recommend the book as a reference. I was actually looking up treatments for Epstein Barr virus for my niece when I stumbled on this. She has Hashimoto's that is flaring up so trying to crack that nut. Making progress.

I still only know of one sure way of eliminating MAP from experience, but these may work. Do what you will with it.

Best regards.

Dan
