Hi all,
My name is nick, I haven't put a post on here in 2 years for one reason or another so I will start again.
I am 36 years old and had crohns for 12 years now, at first I spent 3 years going back and forth to doctors and A&E with tummy ache only to be told each time that " nothing is wrong with you " I went from 16 stone down to 7 stone and still told I was fine. To date I have had 6 operations on both large and small bowel, now I am facing T.P.N tubes for the rest of my life if I go under the knife again. I have never really been in remission with my crohns despite all the things I have tried from diet to meds, now I have yet another fissure causing me all kinds of problems and the classic crohns signs of bad tummy ache, joint pain being sick and not being able to eat.
I'm a roofer and builder an especially now with a fissure walking about is a task on its own with out the flare up. I have a date with my crohns doctor for a check up soon so it's fingers crossed.
Good luck to all
Nick
