Hello all,

well my story is actually not really complete yet, since I began suffering from minor digestive troubles last summer which have increased over the last twelve months. I have been diagnosed with lactose intolerance as a child but never had any problems with it since I never had problems with replacing milk and milk products with soy and other products. Do not know if there is a relation between the one and the other - maybe I find other people with similar problems here.
See you! Onima

Hi Onima and welcome to the community :)

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Is there a relation between lactose intolerance and what specifically?

between lactose intolerance and things like constipation, diarrhea, wind and the like- I mean I do not take in any milk anymore so I thought it might have different causes...another illness?

If you are not consuming milk but have those symptoms on a frequent basis, I would certainly discuss it with your doctor as they may feel the need to conduct some tests to try and determine what is going on.

I am lactose intolerant and if you do consume milk you will get those symptoms as its a sign of not being able to tolerate the milk products. A good probiotic will really go a long way with lactose intolerance.
