Why is banana inflammatory? When I'm sick it's one of the few things I can eat...

i dont know, it doesnt have that effect on me and plus I use it when i have the big D I eat a bunch of bananas and its constipating

Bananas bother me, but they give me heartburn, which in turn bothers my bowels. I usually have a lot less intestinal issues when my heartburn is kept in check.

avoiding poisonous foods and knowing what to eat

Hi everyone...i've found a pretty simple basic way to approach inflammatory foods...bascially for the most part try and stick to the highest nutrient density foods that are a soft texture to eat...that may mean cooking or steaming the foods but its worked well for people i have coached....for example many people can't eat broccoli raw...that doesn't mean that broccoli is "poisonious" (makes you use bathroom and have pain) for crohns..its just means that it needs to be consumed either highly steamed or juiced...the foods that i've had great success recommending are usually high alkalkine, low glycemic index, high nutrient density steamed vegetables and protein...

hope this helps some people and i explain more on my blog...

I was told that it is the seeds in bananas that are hard to digest. yes they have seeds. My son can't eat them at all. It was a 5 on Igg test.
