Hotness around bellybutton

Hi everyone i noi keep writing posts just wondering if anyone has ever experianced any hotness feeling around the belly button area, its not a burning pain more feeling like it was hotter than the rest of my belly? any ideas and what is it

i dont have hottness feeling but i do have this tingling feeling in my stomach. i hope we both get some answers lol

Sounds like you have more blood in that area for some reason. The only time I ever had heat in that area was if my surgical site was acting up. I don't know if you have had surgery or not but if you have and there's a scar there, perhaps it could just be something similar to phantom pain. Sometimes I have heat, pain or itching in that area and I'm actually numb there.

If that's not the case, it doesn't sound serious, place something cool there if its bothersome and see someone right away if you have pain and or begin vomiting which I believe would be a sign of infection.

Hi Porter, I had that in my early dx. It could be an infection or inflammation. Temperature doesnt always coincide. I can't see what meds you are on.. what are you on? I would see your doctor if it gets worse.

I don't get a hot burning feeling round the belly button, but like crabby said, I used to around my scar, years ago, have you had surgery?
Go and check with doc to be on the safe side tho, in case there is an infection brewing.

Im on no meds they still dont nowhats wrong with me in process of being diagnosed and yes had my appendics removed but it is not hot around there it is my belly button area

MY inside are always hot I think I always have some inflammation happening.
