Hi everyone. I posted these links on another thread, but then thought it might reach more people if I start a new thread to share them.

Our local CCFA chapter has a huge gala every January to raise money for IBD research and Camp Oasis. Channel 13, our local ABC affiliate is a partner/sponsor of this gala along with Mercedes Benz. So, the past two years, as a lead-in to the January gala, they played these two half-hour programs about IBD.

They programs aired with commercials, so I've posted the links to each 5 or 6 minute segments for each program.

I assumed that most people wouldn't see the program at all, but oddly enough, my daughter has been recognized in public by people who did see it. So, it's good to know it was seen and heard.

Also, please keep in mind that the producer edits the program, so interviews have been cut and pasted and might sound off to those of us who know IBD. That's just my disclaimer so none of you think my husband and I are idiots. LOL

Enjoy,
Stacey

Thanks for posting.

Grace and I had to stay home tonight because she's ill and watched it. It brought me to tears when Grace pointed and said, look momma, girls like me.

Thanks so much.

You should be so proud of your girl! Hugs to you both.

heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.
Tell Marni thank-you for sharing her story. She has taught a lot of people about IBD and will encourage a lot of children and let them know they are not alone.
hugs to all of the children of IBD
