How do you know you have Pancreatitis from Imuran

I have been having upper epigastric pain and nausea just wondering what anyone who had pancreatitis symptoms were?

Mary are you lab values okay...Your Pancreatic enzymes would be elevated...And possibly liver enzymes.

I just had my labs today and will find out tomorrow. I dont have a fever.

When I was on Imuran I got epigastric burning occasionally. I started an acid blocker and it helped. Also take it with meals to help with GI upset.

That heartburn feeling is a common side effect. Try not to worry honey.

I had my upper endoscopy and everything went well I have gastritis, and Hiatial Hernia. But i am real nauseous today maybe because I am in a flare or my nerves.

It is probably a combination of everything. Did the doctor give you something for the Gastritis? Come play the silly word association game on the anything goes thread. It will take your mind of this stuff.

Glad to hear the Endoscopy went well for you. Hopefully the nausea passes soon, and you get your results from your lab work back and all is normal.
Maybe some Maalox would help with the epigastric pain?

Pancreatitis is extremely painful, from what I have been told by a couple of people who have had it.
