How do you manage pain?

Hi!

Here I am once again. I lost insurance last year and have been unmedicated since. Surprisingly, I did fairly well up until a month or so ago. The nausea and lack of appetite appeared. Now the pain is here and compete exhaustion. I still can't sleep.it hurts so bad especially after I eat. I do NOT have any spare weight to lose. I already look terrible. My nerves and anxiety are worse than ever which isn't helping at all.
I went to the ER and was given a script for Bentyl and Zofran. I couldn't afford the Zofran without insurance. So I have been taking Nauzene. It is OK! I've honestly been taking more Bentyl than I should because it doesn't seem to help at all. I've been taking Bentyl, Tylenol and Kratom constantly. It still doesn't take it all the way away. Kratom is about to be banned ..the pain hasn't even reached its full potential. I can't live in pain like this. I can't lose weight. How do people deal with this pain?

I was on tramadol for 4 years . That's really helped me . When I started it was not a narcotic but half way through they changed it to a narcotic. I became pregnant and took myself all meds in May . I lost the baby and since flared again but haven't gone back to the tramadol. My plan is to deal with it as much as possible

Have you looked into applying for government assistance like Medicaid? If you have a severe health condition and are unable to afford regular insurance, I'd look into Medicaid to see if you are approved. You may be eligible under the "medically needy" category.

Buscopan is my saviour then, did not find any pain killer to be effective for me so I more thy to address the cause itself (cramping, muscle tightening --> buscopan)

My husband took early retirement and so our 19 year old son who has Crohn's will lose his healthcare at the end of the year. He's going on Medicaid and I was assured the his Remicade will be covered 100%. We live in Colorado and I know healthy people who are on Medicaid, here. If I couldn't be covered in the state I was living, I would move to where I would be. You don't deserve to suffer!

I have tramadol and continual hot water bottles. When its a hot day i just cant stand a water bottle but now its colder ive found there helping.
