So I thought I was finally going to stop experiencing this pain but this morning I didn't wake up until 2:30 and my dad said to not take my meds that close together. Wow I was in so much pain today and I only ate half a toaster strudel.
I doubt it was because I missed that one dose, it should be in my system enough by now to be able to hold off.
Ugh...I just want this to stop, I'm frustrated, it's been 2 and a half months, is it just cause it's my first flare? Was your guys' first flares really long? Or is this what I should expect every few months....

By the way I'm taking 4 Pentasa and 2 Prednisone in the morning, that's what I skipped. Maybe they aren't strong enough. It may have been the bread or whatever on the toaster strudel maybe. But I've been eating potato bread just fine. I don't know!

I have been having a flare up for years now, mainly my fault for not taking it seriously enough, and not taking meds, attending appointments, generally looking after myself etc... It has got worse at times but then subsides to a 'handleable' level. Just recently have been prescribed new pain meds, and have realised how important it is to attend appointments/blood tests, and to take my meds. I still have terrible symptoms, but I am finding it all so much easier to deal with just having effective pain relief. If you are really fed up or worried though, it's best to get on to your doctors and tell them that you have still been having the problems, and get them to review your current medications. I'm not sure what a 'toaster strudel' is, we don't have them here in the UK, but one of my triggers is acidic fruits, was there any in the strudel? Also, it may be worthwhile to see a dietician for advice, if you haven't already? I hope you get something sorted soon, and start to feel better :)
