How long can I hold out

Got an appt with GI doc for next Thurs, been bleeding for about six weeks, and really bad for about two. I have feeling weak and dizzy since Tuesday. I notice many of you state you had to go to hospital for blood transfusions - at what point do you make that decision?

A good way of telling you've lost too much blood is to look at your eyelids, are they pale or still a nice red colour?

But if your feeling weak, dizzy, tired, etc sounds like you do need a top up of blood!

cant your gp or pcp or whatever yous call it put you on steroids or at least a steroid suppository. did you get your blood checked for low rbc and hg. I would of thought your own doctor could help with this instead of waiting for a GI.
you could just go to the ER and be admitted if your are feeling really bad. don't wait around to faint!
