How long does it take for Humira to help symptoms of Crohn's?

I have Croh's for 25 years and am using Humira for past month and half and still have problems. I was wondering how long did it take for other members in my situation to control their symptoms using Humira?

Have you completed your 'loading doses' yet? Is the doc aware of the continued symptoms?

Humira does take a little while to start working, it has to build up in the body, I think it was about 2 months before I started noticing differences. Give it a little more time, if you still don't see any changes talk to your doctor

I'm sorry to hear the Humira hasn't quite kicked in for you yet, hopefully soon! When it will work is unfortunately anyone's guess. It works very quickly for some and on the other end of the spectrum, it doesn't work at all for others There are so many variables that come into play, it's impossible to know for sure. I pray it starts working soon for you!

It took me only about 2 weeks to start noticing differences. I've heard people taking a few months to kick in, so don't worry too much. Everyone is different.
