How long from definitive Crohns/UC symptom to diagnosis?

This is for all you with a diagnosis;

1. In retrospect, how long did it take from your first certain and serious symptoms to you got diagnosed?

2. What if any additional auto-immune conditions do you have?

Curious , as I'm fairly certain what my upcoming colonoscopy will result in, and in my case it would be 16 years, from first serious onset, if I do end up with a diagnosis .

Not too long for me - around six months but that was when I had private health insurance back in 1996.

It took me about 3 years. I started getting sick when I was 12 and diagnosed at 15.
