How long until pred out of system?

Just a quick question, anyone know how how long it takes your body to clean its self from steroids, specifically predniselone?

When I was on a low dose of pred (20 mg I think), I had to stop taking it so that I could undergo some blood tests without pred influencing the results. I was told at that time that I had to be off of pred for at least 2 weeks so that it wouldn't affect my bloodwork. I don't know if that's official, but 2 weeks is what I was told. Hope that helps a little bit anyway!
