How often do you guys get your b12 shots?

I got one from my naturopath and it seemed to have made quite a difference. he's in another city so it's hard for me to ask him.

What's the frequency for this type of thing?

I get one every 8 weeks (at remicade infusion)- it would be every 4, but it is a pain stopping at the doctors and making sure they have it!

I have mine done once a month. It depends on your B12 level that decides how often you have it done.

Following Sarah's Right Hemicolectomy she has B12 injections every 3 months, plus Folic Acid tablets 3 times a week. Like Crabby said, it very much depends on your blood levels.

My son has just had the same surgery as Sarah, less bowel removed though, and we are only monitoring his levels at this point.

I had them every other week for a while, but now I get them once a month.

I do my own at home. I was doing them once a month. Right now I do them every 2 weeks at half the dose.

I do my B12 shots at home. My Neurologist had me on them every week for a couple months, then to every two weeks.

I will admit that I feel a little better on them, but the neuropathy has not become any better.
