Now, I am pretty sure that my daughter has got 'Crohns' and past year she had 3 infections earache, infect cut mainly 3-4 tonsilis infections (one ear infection then straight after tonsilis infection) with temp of 40c (nearly admitted to hospital) which now remove. Also had slightly nose bleed x2 which after first nose bleed her tonsilis flare up.

Her tonsilis were remove in begin April, that second lot of Diah she woke up with mouth ulcers, stomach pain with diahirr for past two days, morning and evening, feeling nausa since yesterday also eyes lids are dark and general looks wore out. Today she woke up with painful knees and bit swells.

I am going make GP appointment soon impossible but do I said that what her test for 'Crohns' or wait see he suggest?

Perhaps you could see if he's willing to do a Fecal Calprotectin test. I was able to convince a GP to do that one simply based on a couple of bouts of very severe abdominal pain and family history of Crohn's.

It's a stool test so it's non intrusive and based on anecdotal evidence from forum, it seems to show indications of Crohn's activity in some patients where other blood & stool tests come back normal.

Thank you, I am going trying stay positive but I need know. I am hoping get her see then get her wait outside in reception and have chat with GP because she think only going Coeclia disease run in my family.

I think it would be easier for them to think about testing for crohns as its in the family.
My brother had stomach pains and went to the docs about it. As soon as they heard I had crohns they referred him to the GI for a colonoscopy as a precaution, even though it didnt sound quite like CD

Also ask for a Rheumo as well since auto immune ( including crohn's)
Runs in families - knee swelling and ulcers could be something along those lines

Hugs

Definitely worth asking about the faecal calprotectin! It used to be just the hospitals that could order it, but now GP's can order it as well. It is a pain-free test which is a bonus.
Good luck - stick to your guns and try to get them to take you seriously. Hope they do something to help

Today I manage to Keigheley into GP for 9:20. We saw GP, told him the symptoms and got told that because Keigheley recent had tonsils out in common to get infection bowel, now never heard of this and my youngest daughter Charlotte had her tonsils out just over year ago. Poor Charlotte was on anti bodies for 2 and half two months previous to having them remove. She was fine.

So I got impression I was being fob off, so I said 'auto immunes diseases' run in the family' name 3-4.

With that GP agree to blood test, she had done midday. Full blood count, Thyroid and Coeliac. Oh CRP as well.

Results back on Thursday morning.

I think sometimes getting tests done is a campaign of little battles. If you manage to get some tests done each time you go in, over time you work through a range of possible causes, eliminating possibilities and eventually you get the tests you really want done.

So I'd chalk having those tests done as a minor victory in your hunt for answers, even if they don't show anything.

It surely can be a hard road to hoe Josephine...:ghug:

I hope the blood tests show something that you can work off. If the CRP is elevated then that is a good starting point to push for faecal calprotectin.

What can also be helpful is a commencing a diary, if you haven't already done so. It is difficult for the medical profession to refute what is in black and white and having detailed information not only shows you mean business but it eliminates having to rely on your memory, which can be hard when you are stressed. Not only that but living with this day in and day out makes what was abnormal start to become normal so you tend to skip over the finer details. Have a look at this in the wiki:

I truly do believe it helped in getting my daughter diagnosed, in that they sat up and took notice. The first time I took it to the ER they looked at me like I was a nutter but I just said...well you lot never have the right answer...and again, they couldn't refute what was written down. :)

Good luck!

I don't have diect experience but a lot of the parents here have good success with those bean bag type heating pads...they pop them in the microwave and use them till they cool. I think a combo of the heat and pressure helps the kids. I think you can make one using rice. Someone posted instructions here once. I will look to see if I can find them.

Blood test show nothing, on plus Keigheley told me this morning that pain slightly best and mouth ulcers have gone.

I know this not going last flare she has so I am going to carry on with the dairy.
