Hi all,
I have recently had a nasty flare and tried polymeric diet to sort it but didn't work. I am now back on Humira and it is helping a lot. I have had a colonoscopy that showed the crohns is 15cm in the neo terminal ileum and all along the colon but no the rectum.
I wasn't able to eat big portions after coming off the polymeric diet but has gradually increased. I went down to 49kg from 52kg with this flare. I have a healthy appetite usually. What I have noticed is my lack of ability to feel satisfied and full lately. I eat a good amount of protein fats and carbs and even some fortisips in between meals. I was eating a lot more before the flare up as I powerlift and was on a nutrition plan to compliment this - drop body fat, increase muscle.
I just don't feel full ever at the moment, I want to eat all the time and can't figure out why.
My theory is that I am recovering and maybe my body is in some overdrive? I just don't want to eat too much and get fat lol. Any suggestions? Either that or I am pregnant (my word, hope not)!
