Hey everyone.
I haven't posted in a long time, mostly due to the fact that my story is the same as a lot of you, and for the most part, I've been doing okay.

It's been a fun couple of years with the change-up in medication and I finally got to a point where everyday was relatively "normal", pain-free and symptom free.

Over the past month or so, I've been terribly stressed which I believe to be the cause of the beginnings of a flare up. I'm to see my Dr in a couple weeks as I didn't indicate it as an emergency that I see him, just to touch base and let him know where I'm at with these few beginning symptoms. My next scheduled appointment wasn't until April 2017.

Due to the Imuran, I've been keeping up with the regular blood tests, one of which I just saw the results today for. Low RBC, low Hematocrit, low lymphocytes...

This post is all over the place, I apologize.

I'm just so ******* tired. Like exhausted, feeling weak, prone to napping...
What can I do about this? I've recently incorporated smoothies for added fruit into my diet for a natural vitamin boost.

My question for you lovely people, how do you manage the crippling fatigue?
When I get home from work I literally just want to vegetate on the couch or go to bed early which piss me off as I want to be living my life, with energy!!

Anyways, just stopping by to say hello again!

Hi. Have you had your blood checked? You may need iron or b12 or both. Check with your doctor.

I feel the same way as you, I am pretty low in Iron. I think it is the main cause of my extreme fatigue lately.

Fatigue has been a large issue for me over the years. I've been tested for certain items but without a resolution.

Of late I've found myself with large amounts of energy. It happened after I began eating a wild caught fish diet. I'm not entirely sure why this is working for me, but am pleased and hope it continues.

Me too.

I'm 3 months into a bad flareup, although the past 4 weeks has been better. But my hemoglobin count is low. I've gone critical twice where I needed blood transfusions. The cause is GI bleed. I had an iron infusion last week, and another this Wed. I don't think I've any GI bleed since before my last transfusion on July 20 but like you I'm really suffering with low energy. I'm off work and not sure when I'll get back.

Before this flareup kicked in I vacationed in Hawaii and felt great. How quickly things can change.

Jackalkat, do you take iron supps? If you do, you should also be taking Vit C to help absorb it. Any idea on B12 levels? The important thing is your hemoglobin count. Any idea what that is?

Unfortunately there is no quick fix. I wish there was.

Nice to see another Canadian on here....hello from NF :)
