There are a lot of posts that mention how much everyone loves Calmoseptine... and it made me wonder if there are other things that IBD patients just can't live without.

Mine are:

1. The bidet attachment on my toilet. A life (and arse) saver. http://www.usabidet.com/

2. Just a Drop toilet drops. Great for when you go to someone's house and their bathroom is just off the kitchen!

3. Oxyclean laundry spray. For skidders and accidents.

4. Kotex Thin Long Maxi. These have saved many a pair of undies.

Please share those things or specfics products that you find really helpful in dealing with your disease!

My Nintendo DS for those many hours stuck in the bathroom. Ensure for when my guts hate me. A good sense of humor. A close friend who doesn't mind me telling her about my poop.

1. Pampers extra gentle baby wipes!

2. Welchol (similar to Questran only in tablet form)...has allowed me to leave the house in the morning

3.Febreze air deodorizer

I Travel with a Book the little I travel.
Bidet would be nice!
Newsweek, The Nation, Readers Digest, People get Subscriptions for me! Pretty nice of em.
Multiple authors, My last read was Lee Child-Crime Fiction, If your into that, it was a good read.
Stephen king. Many Similar.
I have gotten to Read alot faster Thanks to Crohn's.
Last of all, I watch a TV at my House from my Cushioned seated Throne.

My air conditioner

it gets bloody hot here 40-48 celcious
so wen I'm flaring I can't stand the heat
I even use it in winter wen I sleep - I need my bedroom too be freezing web I sleep dunno why jus prefer it cold

the only thing i couldnt live without, is my son. everything else is material and can be replaced.

Can't be without my husband, he is my knight in shining armour and provides all the things that I need! Yes, I am lucky and grateful!

Oh, yes, well certainly I could not live without my husband and son.

But when I travel, it's a toss up as so whether I miss them or my bidet more!

(I take a cleansing bottle with me when I travel - it's like a little portable bidet!)

My boyfriend and my heating pad...not necessarily in that order....lol

The stack of baby wipes kept under the sink

A book of matches, matches cleanses the air quickly!

And my journal, I get to vent and reflect on all of the good bad and ugly that might happen throughout the day.

When i first got Crohn's I became a master at crossword puzzles! they went everywhere with me. I even had one embarrassing moment at a music festival when I was using a portaloo and forgot to lock the door...someone opened it and I swear all 20, 000 concert goers could see me sitting there working on my cross word! Oh well!
