There is so much going on right now its insane and I exploded yesterday.

My son's 3rd birthday was on August 31, we are in the process of "trying" to potty train him, and I am still having issues. Dr told me to stay home due to pure exhuastion and sent me to the lab to test for everything in preperation for Humira. My daughter's 8th birthday was on Sept 8th and she has been so super good lately had to do something special for her. So we went shopping, out to eat and then to the park (which was having a huge event that I didn't know about) and wound up bottoming my account out.

I got a call from the dr saying all is well with the lab results except my liver is acting up again and I need to check it this week. The kids birthday party is on Saturday (gotta plan around OU football), my house is a total disaster. The bank keeps calling me complaining about bike payments they claim have not been made and my son seems to think its a good idea to stash food around the house and then find it weeks later and eat it.

Add to all this a prednisone taper and a husband who likes to "poke the bear" and it was not pretty... on the bright side though I got the kitchen cleaned. lol

I do have to say though that my husbands "poke the bear" habit partially comes from the fact that he can tell when I am about to explode and he does it so I will blow up at him and not one of the kids. I told him that I felt better afterwards and he said "well good. I am glad yelling at me helped" lol.

Glad you were able to blow off some steam without getting too crazy. :p Hope you get some nice relaxation time soon! :D

Bless you sounds like you had a hectic time. It's good to hear the husband really understands you and that he helps you that way. Hope things get less stressful for you soon x

bin there so many times. esp when im on pred. good thing your hubby is so understanding and doesnt take it personally. (mine does). you are a lucky woman.

I am lucky! He has had his own experience with the prenisone monster I am afraid.

He had a horrible reaction to some poison ivy roots while working on our well that screwed his immune system and he wound up having shingles on his forhead and taking pred for a month and all kinds of other stuff so he knows how easy it is to turn into a bear. :)

oh, i see. my hubby's great when im great. when im being a bear he retreats and closes up or falls out with me. he's getting better though. it helps that im a nice person when im not stressed and sick. lol. he sees the good in me sometimes. ha

Its hard for someone who has never been there to understand the uncontrolable moodswings that come with it.
