I just wanted to say thank you

My surgery is tomorrow morning, I won't say much about it because I have been talking about it for so long that most people already know whats going on. Its hard to believe that the day is finally here, I have been waiting for over a year. I am very scared of the things that might happen but over all I am ready and more than willing to go through this to have a better life. I wanted to thank everyone on the forum for always listening, it has made a very big difference to me. I wanted to give thanks especially to Jennifer, CrohnsChicago, SarahBear, Jim(POPS) and Sawdust. They have been more than amazing and willing to listen to me when I was having a tough time dealing with everything.
I haven't been around very much, and I apologize for that, but after I start to recover from this surgery I am certain I will be able to start helping others again.

Awwww thanks afidz!

It takes a great deal (and great deal is an understatement) of strength and courage to deal with as much as you have related to IBD and hernias.

I know you are scared...but I am excited for you and all of the wonderful possibilities that can come because of this surgery.

Wishing you all the best of luck and just know that things will be fine and we will be cheering you on for a speedy and successful recovery!

(P.S. A celebratory group taco night in the chat room had better be one of the first things we do after recovery )
