I'm not really flaring, but I'm not in remission either. I have this feeling that is the calm before the storm. My body hurts. My body is tired. I get really hungry and then when I go to eat I can't bring myself to eat what I have chosen to eat. Its like my brain is saying " don't eat that, it's going to make you sick!" any food repulses me. Even bland "safe" foods. The last few days I've just felt off and I can't explain it. Anyone else get like this?

Currently going through this. The only thing that I can get down is protein drinks. I usually drink boost, which helps as a appetite supplement. I'm just trying to be as gentle with my body as possible. I'm scared if I step wrong , everything is gonna go down him. Just be very cautious of what your body approves of and what it does

I go through phases like that. Where everything is just repulsing... It sounds like your body doesn't want much food right now. Just be careful afidz. <3

Chavez when I wasn't eating meals I also resorted to boost... Unfortunately boosts first three ingredients are water, high fructose corn syrup, and sugar... I switched to a Banana, Peanut butter and almond or hemp milk(im lactose intolerant and hemp milk is super nutritious) smoothie... Its tasty, easy on the stomach(well mine) and packed full of calories... I just thought I would make the suggestion :)

I have my own high calorie drink - milk, cocoa powder, vanilla, sugar to taste, egg. Blend it all up for a pretty good combination. I have done this with ice cream, but you could probably throw some fruit into it as well.

Boost contains carageenan, so its not an ideal drink for someone with IBD

Moat of those meal supplement/replacement drinks contain it as well as several other products that we consume on a daily basis. Pretty much if it's liquid, it has it in it. For normal people is fine but for us it aides in disease progression. If you need a supplemental drink, either get a powder based one that you mix with water or ensure clear

I think I am in the same boat as you. I know I'm on borrowed time and its just the calm before the storm. I'm using this time to get my schooling done! You know your body better than anyone.
