I was doing so well with Humira

Then suddenly the horrible fatigue came back. Now my stricture seems to e clampig back down and I am in pain and cannot get things moving wihout miralax or dulcolax Ugh I hat this. But, my"arthruits relted to bowel disease" is responding well! I may be facing surgery due to the stricture. But does that mean Humira isn't working? Or is it just not able to repair a stricture that I think has been there for a while, undiagnosed. I hope I don't have to go off. It makes me better in many ways.

Are you on weekly injections? How long have you been on it?
It cannot work miracles so I expect that surgery might be required sometimes. If it keeps CRA and other symptoms down then it's still working.

I am only on every other week injections. My guess is that the stricture that we hoped was only inflammation was already scarred. I do the colonoscopy next week. Maybe he will up my dose!

Humira worked for me for 5months then went weekly and then stopped, it wasnt working. Just from what I was told nothing medically can fix scare tissue and surger isnt so bad. NO one likes surgery but better to get what little they can before you have an obstruction...that is alot worse. Let us now what your scope says ok? Hugs!
