I was so wrong

I started Humira back last December, I thought it hadn't done a thing tbh, I had a colonoscopy in June & i had Crohns right from my rectum to my small bowel.
However after another 10th Oct & discussing the results today my Crohns is only there @ the join between Colon & small bowel.(terminal ileum long gone)
I take it all back, its taken a long long time but it appears to have done some good.
So although I'm now on Methotrexate as well I have to say well done Humira, better late than never.

Glad it has worked for you. I start Humira tomorrow and I am crossing my fingers for good results.

Are you on fortnightly injections? It took weekly for me to get into remission. Seems to be the way of it, weekly to get into remission, and then you can back off to 10/14 days later when everything is healed.

Methotrexate was not a good drug to me.

Thanks Beth & Jessi, fortnightly for me on Humira. My specialist says that if the stricture closes again then it will have to be removed, however the state of my gut now bears little resemblance to what it looked like in June & that is a better scenario. I am quite buoyed up about it all really, when I saw the photos from June & now the difference is quite noticeable.
