If only I were a cat, incontinence wouldn't matter, as I could go where I liked.

Oh come on, you know they do all the research on animals first. :p My sister's cat has UC. :(

That is so true! I am certain that my parents' dog has Crohn's Disease. That poor dog has the touchiest stomach.

Honestly Crabby, I had NO clue that a cat could have IBD. Never even crossed my mind. I know, at least I think I read somewhere, that some of the first cases of IBD were found in Cows? But, I went researching for some info on what some my biopsy results meant and that article came up on my search and blew my mind.

There's a link between milk and IBD its a certain bacteria which has been found in certain jugs of milk which has been found in people with IBD. I guess they biopsied some cows stomaches and compared them with biopsies of IBd and they linked thm together. They also sampled jugs of milk and found thousands of jugs with the same bacteria...so I guess they blame cows for IBD? At any rate they've found that people who eat more meat and dairy than veggies to have a higher risk of IBD as well. And of coarse I'm a cheeseburger plain type of girl lol.

As for cats they'll do any research on animals before they try on humans. It's kind of sad :(
