I got a date - subject to NHS cancelations of course  - October 22nd.
For a permanent ileostomy. I'm so excited! No more hours of back and forth to the bathroom for hours never knowing if I've finished or not; no more bowel incontinence; no more rectal prolapses and haemorrhoids and pain every bowel movement. I was up all last night with painful diarrhoea and then again when I got up this morning - I can't wait for it to be over!
Anyone else having surgery around this time?
