I'm getting Infliximab next Monday!!!

Hey everyone! Remember me, the girl with the butt troubles?

Well, i've FINALLY been given my date for getting Infliximab, and it's next Monday, wooh!!

Of course I'm not out of the woods yet and there's no guarantee it will work, but please next Monday, everyone keep your fingers crossed for me that Inflix will restore my butt to it's former glory

Thanks everyone! Don't worry Ian I would never go for my Inflix without letting you know lol.

Yep my Mum's going with me, we're gna bring a game to play and I'm gna bring a book and I'm gna be sending her off for snacks and magazines when I'm there so I will hopefully avoid boredom.

I will also be ringing the nurse tomorrow to check a couple of things and I'll be asking about antihistamines and antisickness drugs.

I'm home from my first infusion in my jammies in bed with a cup of tea.

Everything went well, no side effects so far, all obs were normal. It was an unpleasant sensation having the drip but only a minor ache in my arm and the cold feeling as it goes in.

It took 2 hours and I had to wait another 2 hours for observation.

But yeah, all done, easy peasy

wow hannah you are lucky i had my first infusion last tuesday unexpectedly and as it was my first one they put it through over 4 hours!!!! Glad you are feeling okay i was a bit tired the day after but so far have been okay
