I'm FINALLY having my capsule test done on Friday. I'm a little nervous about what the results will show. I've been told by doctors, people on this forum and with everything I've read that the inflammation in my terminal ileum is most likely Crohns...that colitis doesn't show up in the ileum. I'm so tired of not having a diagnoses that if I'm told it's Crohns I think I can deal with it. But what if the results show to be inconclusive?? I'm so stressed over it. And I know that stress is a huge trigger for my symptoms but I can't seem to help from stressing. 4 more days til the test and then how long will I have to wait for the results?? And will a camera even show Crohns?? If anyone has words to comfort me that would be great!!!

My crohn's was diagnosed with a capsule endoscopy. It's quite clear in the pictures, so long as your prep is good. Mine is located in the terminal ileum. Hope this helps.

Hi Stephy,

I can understand your anxiety. It has been a long road for you and hopefully the diagnosis journey is coming to an end. I know you've been through some serious trials and tribulations so I pray that you finally get some conclusive answers. Is it possible that the findings will be inconclusive? It is. And I don't know if there's any words I can say that will alleviate your anxiety. Just know that we're here to support you whether the results are conclusive or inconclusive. You've got friends who understand what you're going through.

*hugs*
