Hello Everyone!!
I'm really new to all this. I was finally diagnosed with Crohns in March after a year or so of being ill, I also have reactive arthritis from the Crohns. I am lucky as my doctors have been brilliant with me all 4 of them!!!
After being admitted to hospital many times and losing 3 or 4 stone and my intestine's nearly errupting, I was put on a Modulen diet for 5 weeks. I found this to be great as it gave my insides a total rest and a chance to heal. I then slowly introduced food to find out what was triggering everything off. (which I'm still doing even now!!)
I now also drink pro-biotics (actimel) everyday and this seems to have stopped most of my wind and bloating which is great. So I reccomend this to everybody if you can have them.
I'm also in Sulazine too - finally off steriods!
I hope this helps someone and if anyone has any other tips to make this awful thing easier I'm all ears!
