Immodium

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone takes immodium while they are having a flare up! I have had one every other day now my proctitis is settling again after the predfoam is kicking in. The bleeding has almost stopped, but i still get urgency maybe one/twice a day after eating, The immoduim just gets me through my longer shifts at work?

Is it ok to take one tablet while having a mild flare?

I think quite a few rely on immodium to get through the day. Ive had them a few times and ive had no bad side effects but has helped me greatly, so I guess as long as are fine with them just carry on

I take 2-3 at a time but only 8-9 a day.the gi nurse said it was ok so I just go with it.still get the running to the loo but not as much unless I eat something I'm not meant to(which is often)

yes i take this too - sometimes it is the only way i could get through work. i have been told it is okay.
