Immune system

Anyone offer advice - on infliximab, had my third infusion due next in July.

My problem is my immune system - I know its low but I think mine is non existent!!

Have poisoned fingers that wont heal even after a course of antibiotics.

Now have thrush which again will not go after the usual treatments.

Infliximab does help to control my crohn's but at what cost!!

Have you had your neutrophil level checked?

Yah, you can do a hematology test to check your immune system.

It will show your absolute + percentage of leukocyte (neutrophil (segment), monocyte, lymphocyte) and the cell histology.

If needed they can also do a more precise lymphocyte test to test your T cells (cd3 / cd4 / cd8), your B cells and your NK cells.
