So I have been fighting to get over my first run of being flared since I first got diagnosed with it. My last colonoscopy showed that all my ulcers are gone, and the inflamation is down. Other than a ton of scare tissue. I am better. (Thats what my doctor said) Im still taking my balisalizide, remicade, 6mp, and iv been moving from 12 oxy contins a day down to 4-5 percocets a day. (H3LL!) But I am still laying around with a ton of issues, still have to be by a bathroom, still get the urgency to go, no solid stools yet, and I have horrible gas all the time, and what I eat still doesnt seem to change that. And the gas is really uncofortable, (Not talking about gas after a procedure) That was a while ago, But I always have to use the restroom cus I dont know if it is gas or $hit. Its been over a year and a half, I still have no energy to do anything, Im not working, I dont leave the house anymore beside a couple times a months when I get fed up and force myself out of the house. I try and work out at home but have absolutly no energy. Ill get a random spout of energy like one day out of the month, but other than that. I am up all night from my meds, Sleep till 2pm, wake up and go right to the couch and im out of it all day. Im sick of being "sick" (Or healthy?). I dunno.. Im pretty lost right now.

Is this pretty much my life now? Anyone have some advice?

-Ill add more later on. I cant seem to be able to concentrate now that Im trying to type.

It doesn't sound like you are in remission at all and maybe your doses and meds can be adjusted considering how you feel. Can you try gas-x for the gas pain? Before my ostomy I couldn't tell if it was gas or poop and that's annoying as hell.

You said you have a ton of scar tissue - I believe only surgery will help with that. Sorry. Hope you feel better soon .
