Long day. Within 40 minutes of admission Ev had his PICC line set and then it was labs, labs and labs. Scopes are set for 6 am so we're in the middle of clean out.

Praying they can find whatever is causing the pain, nausea and fevers.

:goodluck: To both of you. Hope you get some clear answers that let the doctors can get on top of the issues quickly.

Still waiting to speak with his GI. What I do know from a very short talk is that his stomach has worsened in a worrisome way. The PICC line is because they have him on TPN for complete rest. They want nothing but clear fluid passing through his stomach. This was his worst experience after scopes. His pain was severe in a way that they actually chose to mildly sedate him and then give him pain meds. After about 4 hours the staff pediatrician ordered morphine. I've watched my son after leg surgeries and open chest surgeries. He never likes to mention pain. He has his own coping ways that help him a lot. Today even that wasn't working. Seeing him shaking so hard with no color in his face and him barely able to respond to questions scared me quite bad.
