Inflammation of the hair follicles

Most of this year, I have had a lesion in my scalp. After four biopsies, the dermatologist determined that I have inflammation in the folllicles of my hair. She treated it with a topical steroids and it went away. It has recently returned. It looks worse and it hurts sometimes. She says it is a rare side effect of Remicade. Anyone else have something like this happen? Best to everyone.

whao. bu lesion, can you describe it to me? I get these strange boil type spot things on my scalp, they stop the hair follicles from growing and they look like pimples till they scab up and then they give me really flaky sking. it may not be the same but i thought id ask as ive never really suffered this before!

It iis a red patch of skin on my scalp.

Yes, hair grows there. It seems like it is more sore this time.

how strange, you can buy steroid cream otc but if it was prescription strength id def give them a call! hope it clears up soon!
