infliximab?

Hi, just been told today that i have to stop azathioprine as it was affecting my blood far too much. so im now gonna soon be starting infliximab infusions. Does anybody on here use this treatment and know what i can expect in regards to side effects etc?

Infliximab is better known by the trade name Remicade, so check out the remicade club!

hi robbo87 i was on it for a year but unfortunatly it didnt work for me but it wasnt a bad thing,4hours every 8weeks i had to sit about in the hospital but never had any adverse reactions.it was when i tried to get of the steriods the problems started,i was actually put on azatioprine and inflixamab.no problems with iether,hope this helps mate....

Ahhh wasn't aware it was also known as remicade so ill have a look there.
