Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience with injecting anti-tnf-alpha (I'm on Simponi, 4-weekly) early, in my case one week early (organisational matters, can't take it on the planned date)? I would then return to the normal rhythm, so having 5 weeks until the next injection instead of 4 weeks.
Does that make sense, any recommendations?

Thank you!

My daughter was prescribed Simponi every two weeks (same dose - 100mg). She has severe Ankylosing Spondylitis as well as Crohn's. It probably won't be a big deal if you have to inject a week early one time BUT definitely ask your doctors. Everyone is different.

Thank you Maya142 and ronrush7. I haven't asked my doctors yet. The other option would be to be at least two weeks late, so I don't really see a choice, as in the leaflet it says, if you are more than two weeks late you should not stay in your regular regimen. They don't discuss the situation of injecting early, unfortunately. Assuming you are two weeks late with injecting, you should stay on the original schedule, which would result into injecting again in two weeks, so that seems to be tolerable in that case.
